My God I am going to miss my husband when he leaves on the 27th for Army /Specialist training for 16 weeks. I'm not co-dependent...I'm a woman who deeply, divinely, passionately loves her husband and best friend. Right now I am literally soaking up his sound, his ramblings about different computer cases and CPU's, Iphones, monitors and such. All my life I've wanted a best friend like him, and 5 years and 8 1/2 months ago I married him. I've never enjoyed a relationship so much. He makes me smile and laugh everyday without even trying.
I know the military is in his blood, after all he got out of the Navy after serving 8 years. Got a taste of civilian life and couldn't stand it lol...so he joined another branch! So after our efforts have successfully lead us to this point, it's overwhelming me a little. I can't imagine him not being here that long. Not to mention the very real possibility he will be shipped overseas after training....erg. So...here I am, can't sleep at 2:10am and thinking and praying, dear God, keep my husband safe during training and afterwards. Help me to make him proud.
We will leave Sunday the 25th to Rogers, Ark. (where he shuttles out with other guys n' gals) and he will leave the 27th. I can't imagine walking back into this house when I get back from the trip. No Jason sounds....
